How it works

The calculator subtracts an unpaid break from the elapsed shift. If the end time is earlier than the start time, it treats the shift as crossing midnight.

Standard formula(end minutes − start minutes − break minutes) / 60

Worked example

09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute break equals 7.5 paid hours.
